Initial impressions upon my jet-lagged return from the Golden state:
-California sky is Godly.
-All cafés & coffee shops have multiple compost/recycling options (awesome!).
-I may want to move to Napa/Sonoma and drink wine for a living.
-The hills along Highway 1 are truly indescribable.
-Freshness & quality of food = unparalleled.
-A giant, double thumbs up to all of those blooming Camellia trees.
-Hayes Valley is easily the most charming San Francisco 'hood.
-I'm not cool or rich enough to live there.
Much more to come once I sit down to wrangle all of my photos and thoughts. But first, I'm in desperate need of some iced coffee and (several?) bouquets of fresh flowers to celebrate this gorgeous spring day back home.
(Photos = an assortment of instagram snapshots from my trip).
California is pretty awesome, huh? I grew up there and moved away 12 year ago, but I still can't get over it.
ReplyDeleteEver since watching Full House as a kid I wanted to go to California. I have never heard anyone say they did not have a great time. If I won the lottery I would move there tomorrow! =)
