I am a head teacher at a private nursery school in New York City. I spend September-June hanging out with four-year-olds. Yes, it's fun and yes, it's also hard. I also run a professional portrait photography business.

And, in no particular order: Grapefruit, pickles, coffee, feta cheese, crab cakes, bread, peaches, strawberries, pad thai, arugula.

Where do you live
I live in Larchmont, NY, a coastal town about twenty miles north of Manhattan. Before moving here in March of 2013, I lived in Ridgewood, NJ for three years and New York City for seven. I still teach in the city and commute by train every day. I live with my husband, Tiho and baby girl, Felicity.

What camera and equipment do you use?
I primarily shoot with a Nikon D610 and either a 50mm f1.4 prime lens or a 24-70mm f2.8 lens. I am 100% self-taught. I always shoot manual and edit in Lightroom 4. I also use my iPhone with various photo editing apps like instagram and VSCOcam.
