Leftovers

I like simple things: my birthday last week provided me with several. Flowers in my favorite colors, a thoughtful present, and an indulgent pedicure in the brightest shade of pink available.

Even better? They continue to spark a smile several days after they were presented to me. I'm excited for my students to see my toes. Nail polish instantly increases my cool factor, which is of the utmost importance when you're the one in charge of a room full of three-year-olds.

(These fudge-y cake pops didn't stick around long enough to be properly photographed, but boy, did they bring my stomach joy).

  1. Ooo! You got the peace place from your living room post! Yay! :) It's so cute.

And I'm with you on pedis. Even though I don't work with three year olds, I still feel like they up my cool factor. :)

Glad your birthday joy is still lingering. Welcome to 25!!
