There once was a boy who loved a girl. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with her and he wanted to tell her this in the one place on earth she dreamed of seeing with the one person she loved most in the world.
After he accomplished this, they went for a long walk that lasted nearly two days and took them to many famous sights around a very famous city.
They savored this walk and these sights in this faraway fairytale city.
They held each other and made big forever plans for a life to be lived as fully as possible.
The girl was enchanted.
She still couldn't believe she was in the place she had dreamed about her whole life with the person she loved with her whole heart.
When their visit to this place neared its conclusion, the girl stood with her camera on a bridge over the river that ran through the center of the city. She watched the water and the light and listened to the words of strangers spoken in a language she did not know.
She closed her eyes and tried to commit it all to memory. She wanted desperately to cradle the emotion and the elation and keep it safe inside of her.
As the sun began to set, she saw a lifetime of yet-to-be-made memories span the horizon.
And as the light of the sun gave way to the light of the moon, she wept, and thought:
How tremendous it is to feel this alive, this loved, this sacred.
this is so beautiful.....

ReplyDeleteyou need to start writing lots and lots of children's books on love and fairytales and what it means to be happy and full.
