C is for Clementine

Guys, I am stoked for this weekend. We're having a sleepover at my sister's place in the city because we overbooked ourselves and will do anything to avoid driving to and from Manhattan multiple times over a two-day period. (Don't let this fool you into thinking we have active social lives. Usually, we're pajama-wearing hermits).

Both Friday and Saturday night present the occasion to wear a dress and heels (yahoo!). I'm treating myself to a fancy new lipstick on my lunch break today.

Also, I'm pretty sure I've consumed something like fifty clementines in the past week. One of the kids brought in a case to share for snack, and holy heck, the classroom smelled incredible afterwards. I've taken to restocking a basket on our coffee table to encourage healthy noshing at night. So far so good.

Isn't 'clementine' the best word? Sometimes I think it would be really funny to randomly shout it as loud as possible in deep vibrato in the middle of the quiet commute train car.
