I feared my Saturday was a wash when I developed a migraine midday, but after a two-hour nap and good ole' Excedrin, I was mostly recovered and able to enjoy the second half of the day. I indulged my feet with a salon pedicure, ran lots of errands and ended the night cuddled next to T catching up on our favorite shows.
After Sunday morning breakfast in bed, we ventured out to hike a nearby reservation (more on that soon). Afterwards, I parked myself on the couch to finish up necessary work obligations before unwinding for the evening with a hot cup of herbal tea.
All in all, I'd say the weekend presented as nicely-balanced with work/play. Yours too?
P.S. That second photo shows off my newest mug, recently acquired in Cape Cod. It cost me a whopping $2 buckaroos and it's hand-painted with strawberries. Happy happy joy joy!
