"Oh, the summer night
Has a smile of light
And she sits on a sapphire throne."
-Barry Cornwall
This weekend, I did a lot of barefoot walking on my lawn, following the maze of sun rays, and watching the way they illuminated everything in sight.
I also rode in a convertible, devoured fried tofu with friends, and slept deeply in freshly-laundered sheets.
Convertibles are just part of summer, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteI love the light in the first two pictures!
Victoria, I was obsessed with the light. I wish I could bottle it, though I suppose photographs are nearly as good as that!
