Cape Cod beaches are special. I can't really explain it, but once you spend some quality time there, you'll realize that bits of your soul seem to oscillate with the tides themselves. We spent most of our recent visit with toes in the sand and beers in hand. We turned cartwheels, played a seriously epic whiffle ball game and sprawled out on towels to share stories and chat about life. It was awesome.
I love my cousins and extended family. We're all a little wacky, which is precisely why we have so much fun together.
Do you ever go walking on the jetties?
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Cape beach memories-digging for clams in low tide, and docking my uncle's boat at the end of every summer. I can smell that salty air in a heartbeat, and I have a favorite cableknit sweater that still smells like the sea!
