Scenes From The Weekend

Helloooo April! How was your weekend? It was cool and rainy here, which provided the perfect excuse to spend the last bit of my precious break curled up indoors, although these pictures would have you believe otherwise. Most were taken on Sunday afternoon, when Tiho realized we were fresh out of one of the main ingredients needed to fulfill the dinner recipe he had planned. We walked to pick up the necessary groceries and then decided the damp air felt particularly lovely, so we extended our route through the fancy part of town.

Other weekend activities included a fresh polish change (the last one until summer, as nail color just doesn't mix well with daily preschool wear & tear), the ducking in and out of rain showers to accomplish a hodgepodge of Saturday errands, the filing of taxes, and the purchase of a bea-u-ti-ful new bicycle! More on that soon.

For now, it's back to work and that irksome little word called responsibility.

Have a good one!

You have such a way with words and photos, Kayla. You make even the most mundane of weekend activities beautiful.

Happy First Week Back to Work!

  6. lovely weekend shots, as always :) and your nails are perfect, if you did that yourself maybe you can give me some tips? I am hopeless when it comes to painting my own nails, it always looks like I painted them with my eyes closed.
