San Francisco, Part Two
It was a gloriously beautiful day. We enjoyed In-and-Out burgers; a hilly cable car adventure (it broke down while we were on it!); plenty of shopping & strolling through the Union Square and Hayes Valley neighborhoods; coffee from Blue Bottle; sweets from Miette; a photo shoot in the park; girl talk over sushi & wine; and good old-fashioned nostalgia in the form of the famous Alamo Square painted ladies. (Full House defined my childhood).
P.S. Part one here and Sonoma here.
P.P.S. We celebrated the culmination of my trip with a farm-to-table dinner at Gather Restaurant in downtown Berkeley, and it was honestly one of the best meals I've ever consumed. Four words: Napoli carrot nasturtium soup.
