Exquisite Shop: Fey HandMade

It's probably not a good thing when I want every single item from a shop. That's currently the situation with Fey Handmade. I cannot get over the perfectly curated selection of jewelry, soaps, clocks, housewares, art and clothing, all handmade from various artists and designers. (The above are but a handful of incredible finds). This is now officially my go-to source for gift-buying, so get excited if you have a birthday coming up!

Exquisite Shop: Summerill & Bishop

When I discovered this lovely shop, I was instantly smitten. Summerill & Bishop (based in London) sells a curated collection of housewares sourced from France, Italy, Belgium, England, South Africa, Germany and the Middle East. In the words of the store owners, "we sell pieces that are not mass produced, often hand crafted and cannot easily be found elsewhere...we only sell the things we like and would have in our own home."
I'm sending them a business proposal to change the company name to "Summerill, Bishop & Poole," as I too, would gladly own every single exquisite item in their store.

The Curiosity Shoppe

I discovered this San Fransisco-based store called The Curiosity Shoppe, and am absolutely smitten with its premise. Owned and operated by a seemingly cool and spunky duo, The Curiosity Shoppe offers a variety of housewares, books, and other intriguing knicknacks to inspire curiosity and imagination in the home.
In the words of the owners, "We left our super fun, kinda crazy lives in New York City and came home to the San Francisco Bay Area to start up the Shoppe for the simple reason that we are obsessed with beautiful things. We're thrilled to be sharing the objects and ideas that delight and inspire us with as many people as possible. Whether it's a favorite art book, a vintage find, a carefully hand-crafted piece of jewelry or a one-of-a-kind painting, we guarantee everything you'll find in the Shoppe is special. The person who dreamed it up gave it their creative all, and we love them for it."
Well, I love them for creating this store and can't wait to check it out the next time I venture across the country to San Fransisco (a trip I've been wanting to take for years now). Thank goodness they also run a fully operative online store of the same name, where you can browse and purchase all of the amazing merchandise.
The above image is a compilation of some of my favorite finds from the store (aren't they neat gift ideas?): From the top left, Tactile Poetry Kit; Message in a Bottle; Pipe Candlestick; France Cheese Board; Carve Your Own Postcard; Four Eyes USB Drive; Poem Cup & Saucer; Teacup Candle Holder
