Just Tell Me To Shut Up About Sweden

What's this? A Saturday post? What if I told you I'm still in my pj's at 4:35 in the afternoon...yeah, I'm awesome.

You guys are probably like, "okay, she needs to back slowly away from those Swedish real estate sites...girl's got issues."

You're totally right.

Buuuut, can you deny the awesomeness of this space? Pink couch that's all 'look at me, I'm so pretty and feminine?' Check. Plenty of books? Check. Reclining yellow chair? Fresh flowers? Bold wallpaper? Light, bright, white perfection? Quadruple check!

Booyah. I may have issues but this house sure doesn't.

For the record, Tiho would never ever agree to a pink couch. He's a European living in suburban New Jersey. The man's got to claim some sense of dignity over his heterosexuality.

(images first seen here a year ago, originally from here, rediscovered during an internet binge last night. whew.)

  1. LOVE this space. I just asked andreas, and he vetoed the pink couch too. ;)

  2. I coaxed my boyfriend into lavender/pinkish wall paint for the bedroom and he agreed only because very few people will make it to our bedroom. He's now ready to defend it if someone challenges his masculinity:-)). I would LOVE a hot pink couch though but we settled for dark brown. Boo!

  5. Haha, I'll be doing the same in my PJ's tomorrow, love it! I am obsessed with-suprise surprise, french real estate sites. Every weekend...it's a problem. These spaces are so light & cheery though, gorgeous!

  11. more! more! i'm half swedish, but my grandparents refused to teach us much about our culture because they wanted to be as american as they could be. blerg! anyhow, that has made me totally obsessed with all swedish design. i love it so much! and i really want my house to be remodeled by a swedish designer. my husband who is actually an interior designer by profession gets jealous, but only until i say "hey! you should go study in sweden!" the thought of more world travel and living abroad totally wins him over. off to explore those sites.
