This shrub is the very first thing I see upon leaving my house in the morning. With hazelnut coffee in my mug and neon pink polish on my toes, dare I say 6:00 AM isn't half bad.
There's a lilac tree right outside my front door. Every morning I check to see if the buds have opened yet! One day very soon they will and my mornings will be that much better!
