Red Sketch

I may have a legitimate addiction to pretty linens. I am in zero need of new bedding after a semi-recent and beloved purchase from Dwell Studio, but would you look at this red sketch design taunting me from West Elm? It's been on my radar ever since the fall line was released a few months ago.

Does anyone have more than one duvet for your bed? Can someone please validate this potential purchase before I go ahead with it? My current justification (other than thinking it's pretty) is the seasonally festive color. Oy vey.

  1. Ha I just may have more than one cover. I get bored quick and love a redesign so I work between two! Not to say that you should purchase it :)

  2. Oh yes, consider this validation that you need it!! We have more than one duvet cover and I absolutely change up the bed based on season. Husband thinks I'm nuts, but I told him you simply can't sleep on summer sheets in winter. My rule is: anything that you use every single day is worth splurging on, and a bed definitely qualifies =)

  5. i am searching for a second one because washing it means we have to go duvet-less for a few days and that is not so nice. and yes, it takes a few days to wash it because it must be line-dried as everything in our house. europeans hate dryers :(

  6. Okay, you've all convinced me. Thanks for the input ladies, you are very influential.

Ashley, but at least the smell of line-dried sheets is nice, no? I always enjoy it during summers in cape cod (no dryer in the cottage either)

  7. How gorgeous-I'm in love! I admit, John and I have only one duvet, but it's because finding one that coordinating with the rather odd painting above our bed was an epic struggle!
