Favorites For Baby

1). The most adorable hand-crafted baby shoes from Ajalor on Etsy. I've had her shop bookmarked for years and can't wait to finally put a pair on my little girl's itty bitty feet.

2). Milkbarn Organic: I love everything this company makes, especially the sweet & modern animal prints on all of the products (baby clothing, swaddle blankets, burp cloths, etc.).

3). Lightweight muslin swaddling blankets from Little Unicorn Shop. I recently discovered them and will be adding a couple to my registry.

4). Rompers from Winter Water Factory, a Brooklyn-based company offering certified organic baby clothing and accessories. I appreciate the fun, colorful & graphic prints.

5). Assorted toys and accessories (all made in the USA!): Classic Uncle Goose Alphabet Blocks; Bonnets from Petite Soul; Heirloom knitted rattles and stuffed animals by Polka Dot Club; and Baby clutching/teething beads. I'm a sucker for anything rainbow-hued.

I'd love to hear any other must-have brands/products/discoveries from all you mamas of little ones! In another life, I plan to open a curated boutique with all the best stuff. ;)

Alexandra at Seven Months

Alexandra's mama is a good friend of mine. They were both previously featured here when Alexandra was just a brand new squishy little thing. Now, she's eleven months old (we took these shots around seven months last fall) and just as photogenic as ever.

She is such happy and laid-back baby evidenced by her grinning and babbling throughout the entirety of our session. Can't wait to catch up with this cutie again at her one-year-old shoot next month!

Morningside Park Family Session

January-March is the quiet season for most photographers. I'm currently basking in my weekends of leisure and appreciating having extra time to look back through some of my favorite images from the fall.

The light on this particular morning was perfection, as was little A's gigantic, lopsided smile.

Family Session At Home in Soho

Oh, gosh. I remember leaving this session and thinking "that was totally awesome." Their vision was completely compatible with my shooting style. They wanted me to capture candid "everyday" moments in their home and around their neighborhood in West Soho, and we did just that. It doesn't hurt that they also happen to be ridiculously gorgeous (and nice!) people. :)
