A Winter Walk

I am a virgo--an earth sign--and it never ceases to amaze me how even just a smidgen of fresh air can do wonders for my overall state of wellness. After remaining indoors for the better part of two days, I informed Tiho that I felt like I was going crazy. So, we pulled on our boots and drove over to the nearby conservancy for a nice long walk along the marshlands.

The late afternoon light was just beginning to melt into that delicious, buttery golden color that makes me weak in the knees. Tiho threw snowballs while I ducked in and out of the trees with my camera.

I'm probably beating this drum dead, but it bears repeating again: nothing brings greater peace of mind, or clarity of heart, than a quality spell with nature.

"What is the good of your stars and trees,
your sunrise and the wind,
if they do not enter into our daily lives?"
-E.M. Forster
