High Five!

1). A cinnamon bun. Because I devoured it mid-afternoon, at home, during the work week. Praise snow days!

2). This new throw pillow. Because it's slipcovered in my favorite shade of yellow and is the perfect size for snuggling.

3). The city on a blustery, cold afternoon. Because it's all about how you see things.

4). These Trader Joe's tulips. Because they cost less than $2 and are now sitting bright & pretty on my desk.

5). This breakfast. Because ever since discovering that french vanilla yogurt tastes very different than regular vanilla yogurt, I can't get enough.

High five to these five. And, happy Thursday to you!

P.S. Five more items of note:

A handful of questions to ask yourself before posting to social media.

This photographer (and photo series) is incredible. And she's only been shooting for a year and a half.

For the love of money. A thought-provoking op-ed in last weekend's Sunday Times.

Speaking of money: let's talk about retirement.

My sister, Emma, maintains a tumblr of her writing. She wrote this piece about sisterhood last fall and it still makes me cry every time I read it.

  2. Tulips are my faves! And that price is pretty beautiful, too.
