High Five!
1). Sunnies. They're making me nostalgic for our first wedding anniversary (next week) and do a mighty fine job of brightening up the living room.
2). Cute blue convertible bugs. Apparently, I've got a bad case of car brain.
3). My bottle collection. Now that the air conditioner units have been removed & stored for the season, I'm enjoying the usefulness of the windowsill again.
4). Cooking with T after an exhausting workday. Even though the only thing I felt like doing was collapsing on the couch, we chopped & sautéed side by side, resulting in a delicious (and nutritious) dinner .
5). Hot pink slippers & a new graphic rug for the entryway. Sometimes, (usually) it's the tiny things that yield the biggest impact.
High five to these five. And, happy weekend to you!

I love all this good stuff, but of course it didn't escape me that we both spent an exhausted weeknight cooking green beans and rice with our sweethearts–I'll never stop enjoying those little coincidences!
ReplyDeleteI would think this was starting to get strange, but because it's you, it's just awesome.
DeleteI can't believe a whole year has nearly passed since your wedding. Goodness, time just fliessssss! Have a top weekend, friend!
ReplyDeleteI know, right? I don't understand time anymore :)
DeleteI love sunflowers & the colours in your bottle collection are beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Vickie. I have more, but those ones are my favorites precisely because of their colors.
DeleteI love your bottle collection. It reminded me of one of Pablo Neruda's homes, la Sebastiana.. I visited it in 2010... You can see photos here: http://colleenbrynntravels.blogspot.ca/2010/12/pablo-nerudas-house-i-want-this-house.html
ReplyDeleteMy blog has changed a lot since then!
I think I may have to start collecting bottles as well... I went antiquing today, and the temptations were countless!
