Living Well

Breakfast. We're big fans of it over here. Pictures convey recent weekend mornings at our place. We haven't been going out to eat as often as we used to since we're trying to save money. I don't really miss the ritual at all. There's something to be said about cooking together right as the day begins. We tend to keep it simple: T squeezes the juice, I scramble the eggs, and we sit down to enjoy each other's company. It bodes well in setting the tone for the day to follow.

    1. I'm obsessed with it. And that's saying something, because I have a mug-buying problem.

  4. I don't think there's anything sweeter than breakfast at home–especially when it includes fresh-squeezed juice!

  5. As silly as it may sound, I always love how intentional you are about your meals - arranging the plate, setting the table, slowing down to enjoy it. It's inspiring : )

    1. I try to make the effort for the very reason of being intentional. If not then, when? :)

  6. You know, as much as I love breakfast (it is my favorite meal), I eat the same thing every morning: oatmeal. It's usually all my tummy can handle in the AM. Maybe I need to start having more breakfasts for dinner.
