Feels Like Home

Snapped these last night during an early evening stroll around the neighborhood.

The first is a shot of the exterior of our house, for all who've been asking recently (more interior photos coming soon, I promise):

We've been cooking a lot of seasonal dishes now that almost every fruit and vegetable in the grocery store is farm-fresh. Last night's dinner was no exception: pasta with fresh tomatoes, basil, mushrooms, sauteed chicken and hearty chunks of feta. Glorious.

Flowers everywhere. Sometime it feels as if the entire neighborhood is a giant garden:

This is a statue in the center of town. I've been a fan since we moved here three months ago and finally had the opportunity to snap a photo (there's almost always people sitting on the ledge):

We had a good laugh when we noticed a shower head on the wall of the garage apartment neighboring our patio. You know when you look at something daily but don't actually see it? It was one of those moments:

A few more charming vignettes to round out this mini tour:

I love this place we have come to call home.
