Rules for my Unborn Son
If you haven't yet discovered this blog, you really must head on over and take a look. Walker Lamond writes "instructions" to his future son on how to be a "thoughtful, adventurous, honest, hardworking, self-reliant, well-dressed, well-read, well-mannered young gentleman."
Lamond just published a book of the same name (in large part due to the ever-expanding global popularity of the blog).
Here are a few of my personal favorite "rules:"
Don't be afraid to ask out the best-looking girl in the room.
Never switch a seating card.
Keep a copy of your letters. It will make it easier on your biographer.
What an endearing idea!
