The Beginning, in words.

I got sucked into the blog world this past summer with the launch of my food blog, nosh spot.

However, after struggling to maintain the blog over the last couple of months, I came to the realization that the blog theme was too narrow. Yes, I love food. But, I also love many other things and am subsequently, aching to document them.

So, I am going to give blogging another try with "Exquisite Banana."

The name of this blog originated by randomly selecting two of my favorite words from my personal "Words I Love" list. When I was a sophomore in college, I began casually cataloging (in a word document on my computer) a list of words that are beautiful to me. Their beauty lies either in their meanings or, simply, in their sounds. Here is the list as it appears today:
